Hello, I’m Maria!

Before becoming a Goddess with Athena’s, I did food service, factory work, and retail work.  I took note of the people who had strong work ethics and gracious customer service attitudes, and emulated their behaviors.  I always knew I would put together my talents with some training and become my own employer someday.  After becoming a licensed massage therapist, I worked in and out of spas, loving the environment, but really wanting to control my own hours, as I have a traveling bug. I love nothing more than going on vacation to see my parents or friends far away! But I needed to work for myself to have that flexibility...

Since becoming a Goddess with Athena’s, I have had a dramatic increase in my income, have heard world renowned speakers at National Sales Meetings, and have made friends with wonderful women and men inside the company and at parties!  I control when I work, and I truly love my life!

I joined Athena’s because I felt a calling to help educate and empower in the area of sexual intimacy.  I also did the math when a friend invited me to join her at Athena’s, and saw a great opportunity to make a nice supplemental income while doing some fun work. At the time, I was enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, communting to Manhattan to complete my Holistic Health Counseling training.  Once I was offered the business opportunity, I was almost sad I was studying something else! I knew I’d be a Goddess, someday! A year later, I signed on.

Between the amazing speakers that come to Athena’s National Sales Meetings, the informative Better Business Workshops hosted by Athena’s every month, and the constant encouragement from the company, I feel like I can do anything now! I am more organized, focused, and positive in my outlook since joining Athena’s. Speakers like Jack Canfield and Marcia Wieder have changed my life forever for the better, and friends tell me they have noticed a positive difference in my personality!

When volunteered with Planned Parenthood, and with the Alliance for Living, I completed training on sexuality and healthier sexual practices . As a teacher in a massage therapy program, I taught Anatomy & Physiology and Pathology. As a Goddess with Athena’s, I have completed the training in anatomy and sexuality, and continue my education every day with books, DVDs, and workshops on sexuality.  I regularly get kudos from my partygoers for educating with class and finesse, all while making everyone more comfortable (usually through humor!).

I wold love to offer you the benefits of hosting an Athena’s party or the amazing benefits of becoming a Goddess or Adonis. My commitment to continued personal and professional growth are also a commitment to the success of those who I sponsor in Athena’s, a commitment I take very seriously.  I will work as hard as any sponsor does to ensure their success!
